If you have ever struggled to fit a tubeless tyre, it’s probably not the pump, rim, or tyre, it’s the valve.
Originally designed for narrow road bike rims, the Presta valve does a fine job of the basics: letting air in and keeping it in. But it was never meant for tubeless tyres. When you set up a tubeless tyre, you’re adding around 120ml of tubeless sealant into the mix, which over time clogs the valve. The compact size of the valve also doesn’t allow the volume and speed of air to flow freely into the tyre.
All of this leads to slow tyre seating, blocked valves, frustration, and unnecessary waste and mess. For years, we have worked around the issue or simply accepted the shortcomings. In Peaty’s world, the words “it works” and “it performs” are two very different things.
Introducing the all-new, patent-pending Peaty's Holeshot Fast Flow Valves.
