Came big bottle, was expecting smaller amount. Tried only half of wheel, because didn't wanted to mess on street, but it does amazing job, and cleans everything easily, i didn't even use a brush now, but can't wait for free day so I could clean all wheels, because they definetly will look amazing. Good stuff.

This cleaner is a good maintenance cleaner to use on your brakes and discs from time to time to keep your brakes in great condition.Before going out a light overall spray will seal out dirt and dust and moisture.For me the cleaner is on the expensive side however it is a good ProductBiodegradable is a plus as you never really know what’s in a lot of these cleaning products.Braking is the most important part of my bike and I need something that’s gonna keep brakes at optimum performance. Used once this Peaty's Professional Bike Disc Brake Cleaner. Just today I cleaned the discs of my my bike, I didn't think they were so dirty, however this cleaner made me understand, because now the discs are shiny and when I brake I don't even hear a faint whistle. Peaty's Professional Bike Disc Brake Cleaner is very volatile, so it leaves no residue, after having applied it you need to let it act for a few seconds, after I removed the dirt with a paper towel. I'm satisfied! In general it does its duty, if you do periodic maintenance for your bike, you can't miss it.

I wish I’d had this disc brake cleaner with me during my summer trips to the Alps. Some days in the bike-park they could hear me coming well before they could see me due to my squealing disc brakes.I’d cleaned the pads with washing-up liquid, which was a temporary fix, but there was some contamination somewhere that I just couldn’t shift.Back on home soil I came across this brake cleaner from Peaty’s and got to work. It’s really noticeable just how much grime this stuff lifts out of the pads to leave the braking surfaces shining again and eliminating that squealing.I’ve used this on my Hope rotors and sintered gold pads on my both my XC and Enduro bikes with great results on both.The pictures show before and after cleaning on one set of pads.

Loved the fact that it doesn’t have a strong smell. It’s light and pleasant. I’ve used it on my children’s bikes and they become squeaky clean. Also appear to have the breaks working better. But, I also used it on the wheels of my car. They became really really clean without me putting effort, water or other products. Highly recommend this beast of a spray.

It works like wonders! I've used it to clean the disk brakes, car components that were dirty, helped me to remove the silicone from the windos etc as it cleans and works better than the white spirit.

I've never actually cleaned disc brakes on both my bicycle or car, but i decided to give it a try.Usage was very mainstream, shake the spray bottle for 10-30 seconds, position it around 15-20 centimetres away and fire away! The sprayer then shoots a very thick liquid that thoroughly cleaned my bicycle brake disc (along with some parts of the frame and parts. Luckily for me the liquid doesn't damage or strip away the paint, it only removes dirt and grease from the brakes. Next time i will be more careful when spraying my disk brakes. I would however suggest that you avoid spraying your bicycle chain, as the spray will completely strip the grease from it.A big minus, for me, is the smell. I sprayed at my bicycle in a closed environment and could very quickly feel the smell of the spray, it is very strong and could get you dizzy if there is no fresh air around, so take care! I would have to leave 4 stars because of the strong smell, but i must say that it does the job of cleaning your brake discs pretty good!

As with all PEATY'S products is absolutely perfect no more squeaks and stops on a pin I will never buy any other product.

Instant results. I decided to use this item directly after having my car washed and valeted. My car is only 18 months old but my alloys show the discs which are yellowing as they tend too! This stuff works a treat, literally spray it on and wash off. Doesn't completely bring them back to like new condition, but a few applications does make it so much better. I will definitely carry on using this product for the price. Very satisfied as that my only hate when you have open alloys which show them hehe.

This Disc Break Cleaner from Peaty's literally does it what says on the can.Even for a novice bike mechanic tackling a cleaning job on one of the more technical aspects of a modern bike - the disc brakes - is relatively straight forward.The cleaner itself pretty much does all the work for you.Apply it liberally - making sure you have a tray below to catch the excess fluid and any contaminants that will come from the brake system - and wait. Peaty's do advise use of a brush if you have a particularly gunky looking disc brake system or you know you are likely to have gathered a lot of dirt and grime in recent rides.All you have to do once you are satisfied the disc brake cleaner has done its job is dry each part gently with a clean cloth.Simple, but very effective. It also ensures one of the most important parts of your bike - the brakes - are maintained regularly without the need of a more experienced pair of hands. Its not substitute for proper, professional maintenance, but as an effective DIY job on your bike you cannot go too far wrong.Pros: Simple; effective; clear instructions; cost effective DIY maintenance.

I used Peaty's Bike Disk Brake Cleaner on my bike today and it does an absolutely awesome job of removing oil, grease and grime. It just needed a generous spray, leave for a while and wipe down. I now have gleamingly clean brake discs.I did the work in my garage as it was raining today and regretted it - beware and read the warning on the can that you should only use this product outside. The fumes are quite potent!

After my bike had been in the garage for 6 months I serviced the brakes.I used Peaty’s professional cleaner.I noticed the difference as the brakes before had a lot of dirt on the discs and pads.I found the front disc brake was slightly less responsive then using the cleaner and using them it gradually came back to having more response and the breaking distance improved.I also like the fact it is not bad for the environment.Great product.

So you've seen one brake cleaner, you seen them all. This one has a nice matte canister, smells partially like all the others, and has a nozzle built in. I was a little surprised by how much excess there was, and used blue roll to wipe it off before drips on the garage floor. It does mention using something about a drip tray, so it's expected behaviour. If you like the price and the biodegradability aspect, go for it!
