Apply liberally to the cassette while cycling the chain backwards, building up a thick layer of foam

Apply directly to any other areas not already coated such as crank arms, derailleur bodies or jockey wheels

If you have a bike stand, run through all of your gears several times to agitate the grime

Agitate any stubborn areas where needed with a brush then leave to soak for two minutes

Rinse off thoroughly with clean water

Dry the chain using a clean cloth

For maximum punch, our XXX Solvent Degreaser has been formulated to quickly and easily remove all bearing greases, factory greases, waxes and oils.

It makes light work of any wet lubes formulated with waterproof greases, factory chain grease and bearing grease, leaving your chain or bearings ready for a refresh.

All of the Peaty’s LinkLube range work great with our Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser. Any other brands of wet lubes which use marine-grade/ waterproof grease as part of their formulation will need a solvent degreaser like our XXX Solvent Degreaser to remove it. Our Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser has been specially formulated to be tough on chain lubes and grime without needing to be solvent-based which (with regular use) would attack your precious bearing greases.
