Peaty has always supported the next generation of talent.

Over the years, Steve has backed world-class riders such as Brendan Fairclough, Marc Beaumont and Josh Bryceland, as well as riders coming through the SPS “Steve Peat Syndicate”, including Loose-Dog Lewis and Peaty’s very own co-founder Bryn Morgan. It’s always been about giving back to the sport and helping riders find their feet.

With Peaty’s Projects, that legacy continues, with a subtle twist.

The Class of 2026 isn’t just made up of racers and riders. It includes the people who form the bedrock of our riding communities as well: trail builders, guides and organisers.

Peaty’s Projects was created to support the people who make it possible for us to get out and ride, as well as those who inspire us with what they can do on two wheels.

PEATY'S PROJECTS, EPISODE 1: MORG & FFI

First up in the Peaty’s Projects series are North Wales siblings Morg and Ffi Pickstock. Now in their second year with the programme, 2026 has been a breakthrough year for both, with a bit of sibling rivalry keeping things interesting.

Ffi was invited to compete in the Hard MTB League qualifying event in Boise, Idaho, where she secured an impressive third place in the Pro Female category. She’s since been invited back for the final in late October, giving her plenty of bragging rights at home.

Not one to let his sister steal all the headlines, Morg has been making his own mark at key events across the UK, including an invitation to BikePark Wales’ Vanta Jam.

More recently, both have been sending it at the Back Yard Battle, Gnomes Edition, and have their sights set on making their mark on the freeride scene in 2027.

Ffi has recently been invited back to compete in the Hard MTB League finals in Boise, USA. She’s set up a GoFundMe page to help cover the cost of the trip and take her place on the start line.

Alongside Peaty’s, Morg and Ffi have some pretty handy North Wales locals in their corner, too. Véronique and Leo Sandler have been supporting the pair with tons of advice and hospitality, giving them free rein to shred their impressive backyard jump spot.

A massive thanks to Vero and Leo for their hospitality and support, and to Antur Stiniog for continuing to provide a place for riders to push their limits.

Welcome to Peaty’s Projects, a home for the riders who build and support the scene, as well as those who inspire us to get out on our bikes.
