Peaty's Bicycle Brush Set

I've ordered this set of Peaty’s complete bicycle cleaning brushes as I have a few bikes.With a good brushes cleaning my bikes would be faster, easier with the better results, so I was very keen to try them.All brushes look and fell well made and of a premium quality.They feel sturdy and durable.I found these brushes easy to use and clean. They are very comfortable to grip, hold and use.My bicycle tyres and chain for a long time didn't look as clean as they are now. With these great brushed it was easy and fast to clean my bike properly.Brushes are strong, but gentle on the paint, so didn't scratch or damage it.They are perfect to reach all the places in the bike, without these brushes I was unable to reach some places while I was cleaning.Definitely must have set of brushes for every bicycle owner.I think that these brushes are very versatile and useful, could be used for many different tasks.I found then a bit pricey, hovewer if the price isn't an issue I would happily recommend this excellent product. I hope that they will last for long if well looked after.

These look like a random selection of brushes at first glance but each has a use and works well. They are perfect for cleaning every part of your bike.They come with minimal packaging and no plastic.They are great quality and should last year's making them better value than they look initially.

The price of £30 initially seems like quite a lot for a bike cleaning kit, however, this is Premium quality, and feels like it'll last years. It's nice to have something eco friendly and durable, not just pieces of plastic that break and get thrown away. The brushes also work really well, take a look at the website for tips. An excellent gift for the cyclists in your home, or just a family bike cleaning kit if you have mountain bikers like I do!

This set of brushes has been really well thought out, from the angled chain brush to the vary level bristles for wheel cleaning. Great how to videos on the Peatys site to check how to use each brush and good value when buying as a set - also make a great gift for bike friends! £29.99 for the set seems reasonable given the quality of the tools, they are going to last a long time and your bike is in good care. Recommended.

The materials feel premium, with the wood smooth and bristles firm and well attached.Each brush has been well thought out and clearly designed by someone who needed brushes that actually do what you need them to when cleaning your bike.The environmentally conscious approach, using sustainable wood and recycled plastics is also appreciated by those that love riding in our green spaces.There’s a very handy video included with the listing the demonstrates the best use of each brush type. Of course, you’re free to use the brushes however you wish, but I would still recommend you give the video a watch.Yes, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for, never more true.

These are a great set of brushes that allow access to all the nooks and crannies on my bike. I have a couple of folding mountain bikes and have some hard to access areas to clean. The set feels solid and a premium product. The angled smaller brush is perfect around the bottom brackets and hard to get to areas. The primary cleaning brush that looks like a toilet cleaner is much larger than it looks and holds a decent amount of water/suds to clean as does the longer flexible brush that is good for spokes and wheels. It might seem a tad expensive for a set of brushes but they do have a premium finish and feel and like they will last.

Received this very nice looking set of bike brushes , made with waxed beech handles . The brushes are all ergonomic to handle and feel well made . I think the bristles are nylon/plastic and they are soft but my one thought is whether they would cause micro scratching on your bikes paintwork . I have used them on my do it all ride everyday hybrid bike and the brushes do their job well, I like the detail brush for getting into the tight spaces on the bike. Also the chain brush is well thought out being angled for ease of use and as well as having a lower mid area to clean the chain on all sides . I usually use a couple of old paint brushes for cleaning my bikes but it is nice to have a proper set designed for the job. If bought separately they are around £10 dearer than buying the set , so it is worthwhile buying the set as you will like them .

If you own a bike, especially a road or gravel bike, you'll want to keep it clean in order to save you time and money with inevitable mechanical issues that will occur if you allow it to get dirty.This bike set from "Peaty's" offers you pretty much every kind of brush you could need to keep all parts of your bike clean and tidy.There are 4 brushes in total and each one has a nice Beech wood handle. This is both more eco-friendly than plastic and better quality too. I think the brushes look pretty good and like the Beech style hanging on the wall in the garage.Each brush is different in size, shape and the type of bristles on it. You have a bigger brush to cover large areas quickly, a narrow brush to get into difficult to reach spots, an angled brush to clean your chain and cranks, than a stiff brush for your tyres.Overall, I'm really happy with this. Cleaning my bike was always a bit overwhelming, not really knowing what to use and where, but with this set I go: bog brush to clean the whole bike, detail brush to clean any little bits that look dirty, drivetrain brush to clean the gear/chain area, and wheel brush to finish off. It makes cleaning the bike nice and orderly :)

Those of us who have a bike will know that they are not easy to clean as there are so many small hard to reach spaces that collect loads of grim, road dirt and mud.This set comprises of four brushes-There is a bog brush with 360° soft bristles for gentle non-scratch cleaning in between spokes and frame.A tyre brush with central shorter cut bristles that allow the brush to wrap around your tyres.A drivetrain or chain brush with central stiffer bristles and a longer handle to keep hands safe during cleaning.A details brush with a soft tip to get in those hard to reach areas of the frame without scratching or causing damage.These brushes have been very well thought out and designed by people who really know their bikes and know what is needed to clean a bike.The brushes can be rinsed and allowed to air dry following use.There are holes in each handle so could be hung with a string loop, or on a hook or nail.These brushes are designed to be eco friendly being made without the use of plastics and constructed in beechwood which is bio-degradable.The set is a little on the expensive side, but are well made quality items.They arrived with minimal packaging, joined together with string and a simple label.I am impressed with this brush set, it would make an excellent gift and I can recommend it.

I am really impressed with the Verse-Tile of these brushes. Firstly love the edge brush is made from quality wood, finished to a good standard..Really happy with the little instruction information on the label clearly shows what age brushes for and I like to eat. Brush has a hole in to hang it up once it’s not in use brilliant.However, with a cost price of £33 these are an expensive item and accessory for any bike

Belonging to a cycling club, members can be broadly divided into two categories: Those who keep their bikes bright, shiny, cleaned and oiled; and those whose bikes seem to be held together only by dirt. Thankfully I’m in the former category and like to take whichever bike I’m riding in at least a respectable condition to club runs. That’s why I was keen to try Peaty’s™ Complete Bicycle Cleaning Brush Set when offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme. The brushes arrived with absolutely minimal packaging, simply tied together with string and a recyclable cardboard tag explaining the purpose of each brush. I really liked this, which as someone concerned about the amount of packaging waste many products come with is a breath of fresh air.The set consists of four brushes, which are:• ‘Bog Brush’ – yes, that’s how it’s described, and it does look like the type you’d keep by a toilet, except the bristles aren’t scratchy, which is a relief given trying to avoid scratches to the paintwork. It’s a large brush which will get at the majority of a bike easily and quickly.• Detail Brush: This is to get into those tight areas of a bike such as seat rails, hubs and around the back of a derailleur. There’s a soft, blue end for the delicate stuff. It looks like a giant pipe cleaner.• Drive train Brush: An angled brush to get in between individual gears and keep hands away from knocks impact. It’s designed for cleaning the chain and cassette.• Tyre Brush: A stiff brush with raised sections on the outside, sunken, stiffer bristles in the centre. It is designed to bring tyres back to looking fresh. Particularly if you don’t ride all black tyres dirty sidewalls will let down the appearance. I’ve found this especially useful on a vintage bike with whitewall tyres which can quickly become shabby due to dust and dirt. This brush makes them look a lot better.The set all feature eco friendly, durable, Beech wood handles which will last for a long time. This is better than many cheaper plastic equivalents on the market and gives good grip which is important when dealing with a slippery, soapy bike. Each has a hole drilled into the end to allow the brushes to hang and drip dry on a suitable hook.The only thing I think is missing from this set is a thin, ‘side on’ brush that would allow you to get right down between the individual gears – always an issue with the larger ones at the back, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that this a well made, well considered set. I particularly like that thought has been put into the stiffness of the bristles which vary dependent upon which job the brush is targeted towards.At £29.99 these are a premium product, but many cheaper sets appear to only be designed with a homogenous stiffness of bristles rather than fit for purpose ones which you find here. Cheaper sets I’ve owned also see bristles quickly misaligning permanently – these don’t. Whilst this is designed specifically with bikes of whatever type in mind I could easily see myself using them to clean up grubby car wheels too.

Perfect for your tyres.1x Bog Brush - A much larger brush than I expected but this isn’t a negative it makes for better cleaning and you can cover large areas better and still get into those small tight areas as the bristles are soft and flexible.1x Drivetrain Brush - The drive train brush is my favourite because the brush I used before was terrible. It was from a popular brand but it was thin and had maybe 20 bristles on it. It made the cleaning process very time consuming and tedious. This brush is a fantastic up grade. Stiff bristles wider than the chain and very effective at cleaning the chain and cassette.1x Detail Brush - It has a very soft tip and firmer bristles that form a pipe brush. Excellent for those hard to reach areas.I’m very happy with this brush set, it’s been carefully designed and you can tell it’s quality craftsmanship. Before ordering these brushes I did consider the price and my reaction was “overpriced”. However after receiving the brushes and looking at them first hand and how effective they are. I have changed my mind and can see this a specialised set of brushes that I now think are at a reasonable price point.I would happily recommend this product and think it’s money well spent 👍
